Supervisory Policy Analysis


Overview

The Supervisory Policy Analysis (SPA) unit provides research and policy support to examiners and supervisors. SPA economists:

  • conduct in-depth analyses of the regional economy and the District's banking sector,

  • analyze and produce reports that highlight potential areas of risk prior to bank examinations, and

  • undertake research projects that focus on questions of interest to the supervision community.
